Chris’ objective is to secure an agreement between 2 people who are often from very different walks of life and at very different stages of life and to achieve this while making the journey enjoyable and with minimal stress to both parties. With over 22 years in the corporate trenches and 18 years in private business, Chris is well-positioned to navigate Sellers and Buyers through the minefield of trading a business entity. From auditing to retailing, wholesaling to manufacturing, from the production floor to the boardroom, Chris has experience in many business environments. Numerically proficient and professional in approach, Chris will competently combine his personal passion for business with his commitment to the “Win: Win” transfer of ownership. There is often a lot of emotion on both sides of the table in this process, and Chris knows that this emotion requires respect, empathy and special care in achieving the best outcome. Chris is married to Marliese, and they have 6 wonderful children, and 7 grand-children at the last count! They enjoy an active life of family, sport and music in the beautiful Garden Route in South Africa.
